At Biola, the students work one-on-one with a faculty member from the ministry, in order to obtain a Biola degree. Biola also offers students the opportunity to work one-on-one with a licensed Pastoral minister or pastor, who can teach students the basics of Biblical teaching and the history of the church. The students are then required to write a brief summary of what they have learned in Exposition. After this exercise, students will be expected to present their Exposition to the entire Biola class, in order to qualify for the grade.
The Biola School also has a Young Men's ministry component. This ministry is designed to introduce young men to the teachings of the Bible and to prepare them for entering into a full-time ministry after graduation. In addition to the ministry, students are invited to participate in activities designed to strengthen their personal relationships with God. These activities include Bible studies, concerts, retreats, and even Bible-based worship. Throughout the year, the seminary also offers classes that allow students to grow in community ministry and to become acquainted with other religious groups.
The bill also serves as a place where students can get married and start their families. Students are not expected to go on to live in these homes, but they can use the Biola as a place to get married. Students can look for Biola homes in the area online or offline. Most Biola schools will have information about their homeschooling programs and how students can get started.
